INSPIRING STORY - 3 ( HOW TO USE YOUR BODY )
Generally, when you have a muscular
body and very good physic you try to show it off on social media. You click
pictures in many poses. The person starts to feel like a
superman and feels that he is omnipotent. Self-obsession is at its peak. But
when you are more obsessed with your country and fellow countrymen you use your
powerful body for them. This is the story of a man by name Rohit Shenoy who
stays in Chinchwad, Pune possesses a personality like a supermodel who is
helping people wherever possible.
Rohit who is 35 years old has
donated blood more than 15 times to date and organized many blood donation
camps himself. He has done a record of donating blood platelets more than 100
times. Blood platelet is a very important ingredient in our blood. It is
required for fighting cancer, diseases and traumatic injuries. He must have
saved many lives. In these challenging covid times when people are scared to
meet even their relatives, Rohit goes out and helps the needy people to get
clothes, utensils, furniture, electronics, home appliances, etc. Where there is
a strong will to help there is always a way. Rohit has strengthened the hands
of many NGOs during the pandemic and flood times by working as a coordinator.
Organizations like Vivekananda
Kendra recognized Rohit Shenoy for his tremendous work for humanity and
felicitated him for the same. When asked about his motivation behind such
amazing work Rohit says “I believe there is no Higher Purpose than Service to
others and I experience utmost joy whenever I help someone I need. I feel
blessed to be in a position that I am able to help others. And the blessings I
receive apart from the satisfaction of being helpful to someone is such an
amazing feeling. You can say *"सेवा
परमो धर्मः"* is or has
become my life's motto.” India needs many more such motivated people.
Very inspirational story, I feel so proud while reading each word of it. One more reason to feel proud is ... Not that I know Rohit Shenoy, Rohit Shenoy knows me. Keep up the good work and may God Bless you and be with you .
